Bitcoin Spot ETF Records $1.58 Billion Net Outflow Amid Ethereum ETF Drain of $75.9 Million (BlackRock ETHA)
COINOTAG News, citing FarsideInvestors’ real-time monitoring, reported on December 20 that the market backdrop for crypto ETFs shifted sharply. The U.S. Bitcoin spot ETF posted a net outflow of $1.583 billion on the prior session, signaling renewed investor risk-off amid macro uncertainty. In the same stream, the IBIT vehicle registered a larger net outflow of $1.736 billion, underscoring differentiated liquidity pressures within spot crypto exposure.
Additionally, data show the U.S. Ethereum spot ETF experienced a net outflow of $75.9 million, with all moves attributed to the exodus from BlackRock ETHA. The combined flows hint at cautious positioning as market participants reassess risk premia and duration exposures in the evolving crypto ETF landscape.
