US officials say some Epstein case files are kept confidential to protect victims
Jinse Finance reported that on December 21 local time, U.S. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche defended the Department of Justice's decision to only partially release files related to the Jeffrey Epstein case before the final deadline set by Congress, stating that this move was to protect the victims of the Epstein case. Blanche promised that the Trump administration would eventually fulfill its legal obligations. However, he emphasized that the Department of Justice has a duty to act cautiously when releasing thousands of documents that may contain sensitive information.
