Meta internal Q&A reveals new AI model, with a 60% probability of release in the first half of next year
According to reports, Meta's AI products have long been centered around the open-source Llama series of large models. During an internal company Q&A held on December 18, Meta for the first time unveiled its AI roadmap for the "post-Llama era," as well as a model codenamed Mango, which focuses on high-quality image and video creation.
According to progress disclosed in the internal meeting, this model is planned to be officially released in the first half of 2026.
Influenced by the exposure of this roadmap, Polymarket today launched a market for the "Meta Mango model release date," which includes two time points: March 31 (56%) and June 30 (60%).
