ChainCatcher news, according to Golden Ten Data, at the opening of the US stock market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 0.06%, the S&P 500 Index dropped by 0.05%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index declined by 0.04%. Mining stocks generally rose, with Gold Fields (GFI.N), Pan American Silver (PAAS.O), and Harmony Gold (HMY.N) up about 3%, while Coeur Mining (CDE.N) and Newmont Mining (NEM.N) gained more than 2%.
