Abra CEO: The global market will embrace tokenized securities in 2026
Foresight News reported, according to Bloomberg, that Bill Barhydt, CEO of crypto financial services company Abra, stated that with the passage of new crypto regulatory bills such as the Clarity Act next year, the global market will officially embrace tokenized securities in 2026. Barhydt also believes that 2026 will see a repeat of the 2020 trend where capital rotated from gold to risk assets, driving an explosive growth in the crypto market.
Barhydt emphasized that "tokenization of everything" will become a core trend, covering stocks, commodities, and real estate, providing 24/7 liquidity. In addition, he pointed out that long-term holders on the platform currently prefer to stake assets for lending rather than cashing out, and tokenized assets will further enhance this capital efficiency.
