95-year-old Buffett officially retires, steps down as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway
PANews, January 1st – According to Jinse Finance, on December 31, 2025 local time, renowned investor Warren Buffett officially retired and stepped down as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. Warren Buffett, now 95 years old, has long served as the CEO of the well-known investment company Berkshire Hathaway. In November 2025, he announced that he would resign from the relevant position by the end of the year, but would continue to serve as Chairman of the Board and retain a "considerable amount" of shares.
