Open Campus to provide digital student records for current students and graduates in Madhya Pradesh, India
Foresight News reported that the DAO organization Open Campus has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Madhya Pradesh government and Geeks of Gurukul to digitize the academic records of 50 million students and graduates in the state. This collaboration will leverage the Open Campus ecosystem to optimize the academic record retrieval process and upgrade identity verification mechanisms through the issuance of verifiable credentials, digital identities, e-wallets, and smart cards. Employers will be able to quickly verify encrypted, blockchain-based records.
