The U.S. Senate Banking Committee will vote on the Clarity Act on the 15th.
BlockBeats News, January 11th – According to the U.S. Senate schedule, the U.S. Senate Banking Committee will hold a hearing on cryptocurrency market structure on January 15th at 10:00 am EST and vote on the "CLARITY Act." The act aims to combat wash trading, deceptive trading, false trading volume, and mandate reserve proof, with the hope of ultimately addressing long-standing cryptocurrency regulatory issues.
Some analysts suggest that if the act is passed, market manipulation may decrease by 70% to 80%, and large institutional funds may flow into the cryptocurrency market more rapidly by 2026.
If this vote is passed, the act will be subjected to a full Senate vote, then sent back to the House for final approval before being presented to President Trump for enactment.
