X Product Lead: X is developing smart asset tags to support linking asset real-time prices and contract information

Foresight News reported that Nikita Bier, Head of Product at X and advisor to Solana, posted on the X platform stating, "We are developing Smart Cashtags, which will allow you to specify particular assets (or smart contracts) when posting market updates. Users will be able to click these tags in the timeline to view real-time prices of the asset as well as all information mentioning that asset. We plan to continuously iterate and collect feedback before the public launch next month."
