Base co-founder Jesse Pollak stated on the X platform that Memecoins are coordination points for communities, capable of bringing people together, creating an environment for co-creation, and providing users with reasons to invite friends to join. He believes that society needs more creativity, community, and collective action, and therefore, more Memecoins are needed.
