According to a report from Nikkei Asia, Google intends to start designing and manufacturing its top-tier smartphones in Vietnam later this year, based on information from individuals with knowledge of the situation.
Reuters has not yet independently confirmed these details.
The report further notes that Google will launch new product initiatives for its Pixel, Pixel Pro, and Pixel Fold models in Vietnam, while the more affordable Pixel A series will continue to be developed in China for the time being.
