Recent Trends in Credit Availability
According to lenders, access to secured loans for households grew during the three months leading up to the end of November 2025 (Q4), with a modest further rise anticipated for the following quarter ending February 2026 (Q1), as shown in Chart 1. Similarly, unsecured lending options for households also saw an increase in Q4, with expectations of a slight uptick in Q1 (see Chart 2).
