Saia relaunches LinkEx under the new name Saia Logistics
Saia Unifies Logistics Division Under New Name
Saia, a less-than-truckload transportation provider, revealed on Thursday that its LinkEx logistics division has been renamed Saia Logistics.
Headquartered in Johns Creek, Georgia, the company’s logistics arm specializes in non-asset-based truckload and expedited shipping solutions. In 2024, this segment contributed less than 3% to Saia’s total annual revenue of $3.2 billion.
“Bringing all of our logistics offerings under the Saia name allows our customers to more easily recognize the full range of services we provide,” stated Ray Ramu, Saia’s chief customer officer, in a press statement.
The update is strictly a branding change and will not affect ownership, staffing, daily operations, or existing customer agreements.
LinkEx has operated as part of Saia (NASDAQ: SAIA) for more than ten years, collaborating closely with the company’s LTL team.
David Miller, vice president and general manager of Saia Logistics, commented, “This move is about providing clarity and strengthening connections for both our clients and employees. We’ve worked alongside Saia for many years, and adopting the Saia Logistics name better represents our commitment to customers, without altering the trusted service and relationships we’ve built.”
Saia is scheduled to announce its fourth-quarter financial results on February 10, prior to the market opening.
