Wall Street Markets Regain Ground

U.S. stocks found stability as trading wrapped up on Thursday.

The S&P 500 advanced by 0.3%, snapping a two-day decline and moving closer to the record high it achieved earlier in the week. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.6%, while the Nasdaq composite edged up 0.2%.

Technology shares, including Nvidia, contributed to the market’s rebound. The sector was buoyed by strong earnings and investment announcements from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., a key player in the tech supply chain.

Additional support for the markets came from a sharp drop in oil prices, sparked by optimism over easing tensions in Iran. Positive economic data also lifted Treasury yields and boosted shares of smaller companies.
