UK Leading Economic Index Shows Slight Decline in November 2025
In November 2025, the Conference Board Leading Economic Index® (LEI) for the United Kingdom edged down by 0.1% to reach 73.9 (with 2016 as the base year at 100), following a flat reading in October. Over the six months from May to November 2025, the LEI dropped by 0.9%, which is a slower pace of decline compared to the 1.3% decrease recorded in the previous six-month span from November 2024 to May 2025.
Meanwhile, the Conference Board Coincident Economic Index® (CEI) for the UK rose by 0.2% in November 2025, bringing the index to 108.1 (2016=100), after a 0.1% increase in October. Across the six months from May to November 2025, the CEI advanced by 0.2%.
