FAQs

  1. What details do I need to complete my EUR deposit after placing an order? After creating a deposit order, you must transfer EUR using your banking app. Bitget will display all required payee details, including account name, IBAN, SWIFT/BIC, bank country, bank name, and bank address.

  2. Can I transfer from any EU bank account? Yes, as long as the bank supports SEPA payments within the EEA or UK. Avoid cross-border transfers outside SEPA, as they may not be processed and refunds may not be possible.

  3. Can I transfer funds without placing an order first? No. You must place a deposit order on Bitget before transferring funds. Transfers without an order will not be processed.

  4. What happens if the transfer amount is different from my order? Your deposit will fail if the transfer amount does not exactly match the amount specified in your Bitget deposit order.

  5. How long does it take for a EUR deposit to be credited? SEPA deposits typically take 1–3 working days. Transfers made after 5:00 PM local time or on weekends/holidays may be processed on the next working day.

  6. What should I consider before making a EUR transfer?

  • The name on your bank account must exactly match your Bitget account name.

  • Transfers from joint accounts are not accepted.

  • SWIFT transfers are generally not supported and may be returned or delayed.

  • SEPA Standard payments are not processed on weekends or bank holidays.

  1. What are the limits for EUR deposits and withdrawals? EUR bank transfer limits depend on your identity verification level. You can submit an EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) request to raise your limits here.

  2. Where can I check my order history for EUR and BRL transactions? You can view your order history at Bitget’s deposit history page.

  3. Why haven’t I received my EUR deposit yet? Possible reasons include:

  • Manual compliance review (may take a few hours to one working day).

  • Use of an unsupported transfer method (e.g., SWIFT).

  • SEPA only supports personal accounts; institutional/joint accounts may be rejected.

  1. Is SWIFT supported for EUR deposits? Technically possible but not recommended. SWIFT transfers may be rejected and could incur extra fees (~10 USD). Bitget advises using SEPA payments only.

  2. What are the identity verification requirements for SEPA deposits? Only passports or national IDs issued by EEA countries are accepted. Temporary visas, voter cards, driver's licenses, and residence permits are not valid for SEPA identity verification.

  3. What are the refund processing fees? Refund fees depend on currency and deposit type:

  • EUR individual deposits: €0.2–2

  • EUR institutional deposits: €2

  • BRL individual deposits: R$0

Note: If your deposit amount is less than the applicable refund fee, no refund will be issued.
