受美股近期的低迷行情影響，比特幣價格再次回落至關鍵支撐水平，而市場對比特幣的信心似乎已不像前幾次這麼充裕。
與此同時，BitMEX 創辦人 Arthur Hayes 又在今日發文稱，許多貝萊德比特幣現貨 ETF（IBIT）持有者其實是對沖基金，他們的策略是做多 ETF，做空 CME 期貨，以獲取比短期美國國債收益率更高的套利利潤。
然而，一旦這種套利基差隨著 BTC 下跌而縮小，這些對沖基金將會拋售 IBIT，回補 CME 期貨空單。
目前這些基金已經獲利，而由於基差已接近美國國債收益率，他們很可能會在美股交易時段內平倉，鎖定利潤。
隨後，Arthur Hayes 暗示比特幣可能會一路向下跌至 70,000 美元。
