European high-net-worth investors have accepted purchasing European real estate through crypto assetsBlockBeats news, on January 11, Nikolay Denisenko, co-founder of the crypto payment app Brighty, stated that in the past year, hundreds of high-net-worth investors have used cryptocurrency to purchase real estate in Europe. The platform has facilitated over 100 transactions, mainly concentrated in the UK, France, Malta, Cyprus, and Andorra, with individual transaction amounts ranging from $500,000 to $2.5 million. Previously, high-net-worth clients mostly used USDC issued by Circle, but now, to avoid conversion costs, more clients are turning to euro-pegged stablecoins (such as EURC). (CoinDesk)

TRM Labs: Iran's Revolutionary Guard transferred about $1 billion through a UK-registered crypto exchangePANews reported on January 11, citing The Block, that a recent analysis by TRM Labs shows that since 2023, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has transferred approximately 1 billion dollars through two UK-registered cryptocurrency exchanges, Zedcex and Zedxion, to evade international sanctions. Between 2023 and 2025, transactions related to the IRGC accounted for 56% of the total trading volume on these exchanges, with the vast majority of transactions conducted in USDT on Tron.
