According to Golden Ten Data on January 2, local time, the foreign ministers of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt issued a joint statement regarding the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, expressing concern over the continued deterioration of local humanitarian conditions. The statement pointed out that the recent severe and unstable weather has further exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. With restricted access to humanitarian aid, severe shortages of critical life-saving supplies, slow entry of infrastructure repair and temporary shelter materials, the living conditions of local residents continue to worsen.
