Morgan Stanley 近期在加密貨幣領域的推進動作相當大。他們剛剛宣布，計劃於 2026 年下半年推出自家專屬的數位錢包，緊接著今年內還會在 E-Trade 開放 BTC、ETH 和 SOL 交易。
華爾街過去一向嚴謹保守，曾對區塊鏈避之唯恐不及，如今卻像搶最後一架直升機般爭相追逐數位資產寶藏。
Morgan Stanley 加密貨幣推進遇上傳統金融革命
Morgan Stanley 財富管理主管 Jedd Finn 在接受《巴倫周刊》訪問時直言，整個金融基礎設施正逐步轉型，將傳統金融（TradFi）世界與混沌的去中心化金融（DeFi）遊樂場緩慢整合。
而且，他們剛剛為自家比特幣、以太幣、solana 的現貨 ETF 提交 S-1 申請，連一向見慣大場面的 ETF 觀察家如 Bloomberg 的 James Seyffart 都感到驚訝，發 X 文表示：「沒想到會發生這種事」，畢竟多年來他都認為銀行對加密貨幣敬而遠之。
在加密貨幣剛起步的年代，這種構想在銀行高層看來，不是痴人說夢就是徹底妄想。金融機構會碰「那玩意」？簡直可笑。
但現在，越來越多國家悄悄建立數位資產國庫，巨頭如 Strategy 將數十億美元 BTC 放進資產負債表，BlackRock 更推出多檔加密貨幣 ETF，現已累積管理資產達 1,300 億美元。
這波轉變不得不讓人佩服，就像 2017 年 Goldman Sachs 投入比特幣期貨，到了 2020 年，據其文件披露，已為加密貨幣業務投入超過 10 億美元。
傳統金融頭也不回衝進加密世界
截至 2024 年 1 月現貨比特幣 ETF 上線以來，專家表示成交總量已超過 1.6 兆美元，BlackRock 的 IBIT 則成為史上增長最快的 ETF。
Morgan Stanley 可不打算袖手旁觀，去年就讓顧問向高資產客戶推薦這些產品，隨後更全面開放至所有帳戶，包括退休金計畫，這一切都拜川普總統行政命令鬆綁 401(k) 加密限制所賜。
再深入一點看，JPMorgan 自 2019 年推出 JPM Coin，每天透過區塊鏈進行超過 10 億美元結算，根據其報告。
加密貨幣抵押貸款也逐漸出現，像 Signature Bank 高峰時託管資產達 100 億美元，雖然後來倒閉；Silvergate 也曾發放數十億美元這類貸款。
Morgan Stanley 去年九月參與 Zerohash 1.04 億美元融資，為 2026 年中 E-Trade 加密貨幣交易鋪路，如今再用數位錢包一舉整合全局。
